Tafraoute Trek - Trek through stunning valleys, gorges and visit the famous blue painted rocks

The Tafraoute trek is based in the heart of the Ammelnes valley giving you the opportunity to learn about many different aspects of Berber culture. You will trek through many different villages and landscapes including stunning gorges and visiting the famous blue painted rocks. You will also learn how to barter in the local markets before transferring to the town of Tarroudant which is famous for the production of argan oil.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Agadir airport and transfer to Tafraoute. (3 hours) Hotel and dinner included

Day 2: Visit the Maison de la Traditionnelle, Eco museum and discover about traditional Berber life and culture. Hotel, breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Day 3: Visit the valley des Ammelnes exploring the Berber villages and landscape (5 hours trekking) Hotel, breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Day 4: Visit the Gorges d'air Mensor. 4 hours of trekking and return via the famous painted rocks Hotel, breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Day 5: Spend the day exploring the markets in Tafroute. 3 hours trekking Hotel, breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Day 6: Transfer to Taroudant (3 hours) and spend the rest of the day exploring the town Hotel, breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Day 7: Transfer to Agadir airport 1.5 hours Breakfast included, other meals at own expense
