Painting holidays in Morocco
We organise diverse painting and drawing holidays in Morocco, visiting the vibrant city of Marrakesh and the impressive Ait Bougamez valley where each day involves a short walk with your art materials to a drawing location. You will experience a wide range of Moroccan architecture from Islamic palaces to Berber homes. You will also get the opportunity to try your hand at traditional crafts such tapestry and wood carving at the local craft associations. Other visits include stunning areas of natural beauty including mountain passes, valleys, waterfalls and lakes. This may count towards your Gold DofE Award residential - please check with your DofE leader.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Marrakesh airport, transfer to hotel, rest of the day free in Marrakesh. Hotel included, meals at own expense
Day 2: Half day guided city tour in Marrakesh and drawing afternoon in the medina. Hotel and breakfast included
Day 3: Transfer to Ait Bougamez "Happy Valley" (6 hours) Gite, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 4: Drawing day in Agouti village visiting the local craft associations for tapestry and wood carving. Gite, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 5: Drawing day at Tabant weekly market. Gite, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 6: Drawing day in the gorge and up at the granary view point. Gite, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 7: Drawing day in the Berber Family homes. Gite, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 8: Transfer back to Marrakesh (6 hours) visit Cascades de Ouzoud enroute. Hotel, breakfast and lunch included
Day 9: Depart for UK. Breakfast only included
