Lower Toubkal Trek
The Lower Toubkal trek, Morocco is a beautiful trek which starts in Im Ighoulad just outside of Imlil. The trek follows the passes on the western side of Toubkal taking you away from the more popular routes. You will trek for 4 days through many interesting villages and different trekking terrains. This trek is moderate as you will move from place to place each day but you will be rewarded with many fine view points of the Atlas mountains. Your trek will finish in Imil after reaching the summit of Jebel Toubkal 4167m. We return to Marrakech where you can visit the De Jemma el Fna and explore the medina and its many souqs and palaces.

Sleeping overnight in basic dormitory accommodation. Trekking with a day pack to a different place everyday. Main luggage is portaged by mules. All meals provided whilst on trek by our expedition cook. Trek led by qualified Moroccan guide who speaks English fluently.
Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Marrakesh to Im Ouglad 1800m (1.5 hours) Trek from Im Ouglad 1800m up through the juniper trees over Tizi n Techt 2400m down through Berber villages to the river and Tiziane village 1800m. 6 hours trekking Gite, lunch and dinner included
Day 2: Trek from Tiziane 1800m through mountainous terrain today over Talat n Likis 2600m to Tisgui 1900m, 6-7 hours trekking Gite, breakfast, lunch and dinner included
Day 3: Trek from Tisgui 1900m through more mountainous terrain over Tizi n Tougdal 2672m down to Tisi Oussem river and village 1800m, 6-7 hours trekking Gite, breakfast, lunch and dinner included
Day 4: Trek from Tisi Oussem through the village 1800m through juniper trees and over Tizi Mezik 2400m to Imlil 1800m. 5 hours trekking Gite, breakfast, lunch and dinner included
Day 5: Transfer to Marrakesh after breakfast (1.5 hours) breakfast only included
Price includes: meals as above, cook, transfers to and from airport, transfers to and from trek, 3 nights in a gite, 2 nights accommodation in 3* hotel in Marrakech, english speaking local guide, mules and muleteers, drinking water on trek.
Not included: tips for guides, meals in Marrakech, sightseeing entrance fees, bottled water, soft drinks or alcoholic beverages, international flights, travel insurance, water purifying tablets.
