I chose Berber Trek because Georgina was so immediately responsive and helpful. She designed an individual itinerary that met my timeline and objectives and answered all my endless questions. My guide, Omar, was enthusiastic, flexible and creative. He was able to design and implement Plan B when Plan A was not going to work and his ability to speak Berber, Arabic and English meant that we could interact with all the citizens we met on the hikes. My driver, Hallid, was a model of safe driving so I rarely had to grab at the arm rests! Mohammed, the muleteer and cook, made a mean tajeen and altogether I felt well cared for. The sand in the Sahara was like golden silk but riding a camel down the dunes is no joke! Altogether it was a brilliant tripand I hope you chose to enjoy it.
