Dear Georgina, We had a wonderful week in Marrakesh. Our guide, Abdel, looked after us so well, and he gave us so much interesting information about the places we visited. He was very helpful in answering our questions, and gave us plenty of time to absorb our surroundings. Also, he took us to such a variety of places to have our lunches, and was very reassuring that we were eating in good. safe places. He was very amusing and charming, aswell as hospitable. Yaseen, our driver was very considerate, and took care of us when we travelled in his car. Both of them were such good examples of lovely Moroccan people. The riad too, was beautiful, run by such a lovely young Italian couple. It was clean and beautiful, and because it was small, had a family atmosphere about it. It was so nice to be in the Medina, and we quickly found our way around. I saw historical Islamic gardens, which were very interesting, some of which I'd visited before, and the aromatic garden was a lovely surprise. I feel as if I have so much more understanding of Islamic gardens now. It all went so well, and it was lovely for my friend, Bunty, a childhood friend, to see what I was going on about when talking about Morocco, and because it all went so well, she was able to appreciate a new experience confidently. Thank you so much for all your careful organisation, and finding us such good places and people. Thanks again for enabling us to have such a good holiday. I'm sure I'll be going back.
