DofE Residential in Morocco - Day 4

Posted on

DofE Residential in MoroccoDAY 4 Todays family was just a short walk away. The boys spent the day with the animals, interacting with the livestock and organising the animal pen. The girls spent the morning out in the fields before we gathered back for lunch, which was a delicious cous cous cooked by the welcoming Berber family. Then followed a break full of riddles, chatting and exploring the wonders of Moroccan tv soaps and music. The boys spent the afternoon back in the animal pen whilst the girls took part in household chores; sweeping, ironing and breadmaking. We certainly had a lot of fun with the family and although we didn't share a common language we communicated through song and dance.
