DofE Residential in Morocco - Day 3

Posted on

DofE Residential in MoroccoDAY 3 Our next day started with a filling breakfast before travelling to the local Berber families to help with their daily routine. The girls cut hay, chased after temperamental donkeys and made lunch. The boys helped construct walls for a farmhouse. In between our selfies with domesticated cows and chasing chickens for small children, we felt an overall sense of pride and acheivement for our ability to contribute to something that would benefit and last the Berber families for years to come. A fact that we realised after our third lunch was that the Berber families are very hospitable and are elated to welcome new guests.
